Bank Holiday Monday Open Day with Live Music

Gather with family and friends to explore the beautiful gardens and don't miss the opportunity to visit our family-run Tea Room. The gardens will be open for longer than usual, opening at 11am and closing at 5pm, with Live Music and Garden Talks throughout the day.

1:30 - 2:15pm - Music by The Lebosi Trio

2:45 - 3:30pm - Music by The Lebosi Trio

3:30pm - Talk 2 - Growing Vegetable & Companion Plants for the Kitchen Garden

Garden visitors have access to our family-run Tea Room where a selection of homemade cakes & drinks are served throughout the afternoon. Lunches are served 12-3pm (no reservations required).

We are introducing pre-ordered Garden Picnic Boxes for those who want to guarantee a delicious garden feast and avoid the queues! Garden Picnic Boxes will be available to collect at 1pm so you can head straight to the garden and find a spot to enjoy the music. To make your afternoon completely effortless, every picnic box comes with a complimentary picnic blanket to use (please return to the kiosk at the end of the day). Choose from two options: The Great British Garden Picnic Box or the The Grazing Feast Box (Charcuterie or Vegetarian) - menus attached below.

Picnic Box pre-orders will close on Sunday 24th May at 5pm.

We kindly ask guests not to bring outside food or picnics, as catering facilities and refreshments are available onsite. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Tickets to visit the garden can be purchased in advance online or in person at the gardens. Garden Members will be asked to present their card on entry.

Live Music - The Lebosi Trio are a group of London based musicians who met whilst studying jazz at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. They have a passion for the Great American Songbook and popular music of the 20th Century, specialising in the work of the great songstresses of the 1950’s and 60’s. Together they have performed all around the UK and have graced the stages of many prestigious venues, such as Ronnie Scott’s, the Royal Albert Hall, Elgar Rooms and Pizza Express Soho as well as performing internationally in Germany, Italy and France.
