Church Gardens is a three acre walled garden with a traditional organic kitchen garden, consisting of 56 geometrically arranged raised beds, 60m long herbaceous borders, trained fruit trees, alpines, herb garden, auricula theatre, fruit cage and an orchard with a rare arcaded wall dating back to the early 1600's.

August is a beautiful time to visit the gardens, the Dahlia display is at it's peak and the vegetable beds will be overflowing with organically grown vegetables. 

New garden features include our Paradise Garden, Vine Mount and Mushroom House, and our newly planted 40m long Forest Garden Bed.  The terrace in the Orchard has been restored to give a panoramic view of the Arcades that has not been seen since the 19th Century.

Tea and cake will be available to purchase throughout the day.

No Dogs - Only Guide/Assistance Dogs are permitted into Church Gardens.

Tickets MUST be pre-purchased online. Please ensure you can display your tickets on your phone or bring printed copies.
